Control + V er en konseptkonkurranse i regi av +KOTE. Konkurransen er åpen for studenter innenfor alle studiefelt. Med Control + V ønsker vi å gi studenter en plattform til å uttrykke sin kreativitet og sine synspunkter om tematikken. Ved å samle forskjellige studiefelt gir konkurransen anledning til å se på forskjellige løsninger til utfordringer samfunnet møter i urbanismen og arkitekturen.
I papirutgave #11 skrev Astrid Fadnes om “Visuell forurensning” i offentlige rom. Med dette som inspirasjon er tematikken for Control + V “Visuell forurensning”. Vi inviterer studenter til å ta tilbake de offentlige rommene ved å erstatte reklamebelagte flater med “kunst”. Du står fritt til å velge hva slags flate/ format som skal endres. Hvordan vil ditt konsept gi et sted karakter? Hvordan vil du bruke det kreative uttrykk som drivkraft for stedsdannelse? Foto, veggskulptur, dikt… du velger ditt uttrykk!

Du må være student eller nyutdannet (ett år etter endt fullført grad).
Teksten må inneholde:
Konseptbeskrivelse: opptil 100 ord om hva du skal lage og tanker om hva verket kan bidra til.
Overflate format: Spesifiser hva slags overflate du har valgt, om det er en vegg, plakat, skjerm eller noe annet.
Teknikk: Bilde, tekst, video, maleri, etc.
Innsendelsesformat: illustrasjonen skal leveres i A3 og i PDF

Control + V is a conceptual competition by +KOTE. The competition is open for students within all fields. With Control+V, we wish to give students a platform to express their creativity and opinions about the theme. By gathering different study fields, the competition opens up the possibility to look at different solutions for societal challenges within urbanism and architecture.
In our paper-issue #11, Astrid Fadnes wrote about ”visual contamination” in public space. With this as inspiration, the theme for Control+V is ”visual contamination”. We invite students to take back public space and replace ad-filled surfaces with “art”. You are free to choose what surface you want to work with and what format to work with. How will your concept provide character to a space? How will you use the creative expression as a force for placemaking? Photo, sculpture, poem… you choose your expression!
